Is this Vulkan?
I'm still (after 7-8 hours) on OpenGL, and other than the particle issue it's been a pretty "smooth" ride.
On or close to 30fps for most of the time, and looks damn good to boot. (quality mod 4x)
I'm still experimenting with RTSS, as frametimes are a bit all over the place, but...
Ended up disabling VSync in Yuzu and enabling it in NVIDIA cp, and at the same time limited framerate to 29fps. (I'm playing at 30)
The frame limit I guess could be enforced either via Rivatuner OR Nvidia cp, but I didn't notice any perceivable difference between the two so I went with the...
From what I understand you should keep the emu scaling to 1x, as (at least in Yuzu) higher res seems to introduce artifacts.
Btw are you guys getting (micro)stuttering in Yuzu (OpenGL)?
It doesn't seem to be shader-related, and it's especially noticeable when slowly rotating the camera around...
It's not all cutscenes (I think), but in some, sound effects (lasers, etc.) seem to be not playing or playing with the wrong timing or something. Not a deal breaker for sure.
Thanks for clarifying.
Yeah, emu scaling seams to be causing some artifacts, but since I didn't try the previous Xenoblades in emus before, I wasn't sure if it was because it's a new game, or an inherent issue with the specific engine.
Particles still missing with that build though right?
Edit: Cutscenes, at least when played through the Event Theatre, are still crashing (with Vulkan) on that build for me
The only setup that doesn't crash/allows me to play for hours here, is the custom Yuzu build (that solves the memory leak...
Why doesn't emu scaling work -properly- with this again? (or does it?)
I mean why are we using mods? Is it an engine thing, or something that will potentially get fixed down the road?
So for some reason after approx. 4 hours of playtime with no issues, now every time I (try to) open the character screen Ryujinx crashes.
No idea what's going on.
Just to clarify, for emulators (Ruijinx specifically) the idea is that we use the ResMod with 1x res in emulator settings?
(because atm upscaling for XC3 via emulators doesn't work yet and all that)
In case anyone else is looking for the answer its' been answered in this post.
Basically SX OS has to be used at least once to get the "license-request.dat" file, which can then be used on the SX OS site to generate the required license.dat file.
Ah ok makes sense, thanks.
Any tips for smooth SX OS setup/installation?
I mean would it have to be on its' own SD card i.e. no traces of atmosphere on same SD card?
Should I just follow the SX OS installation doc or does the fact that I won't be using it more than onces changes any of the...
I've been playing fallout4 all day, I went into a elevator and it kept going, never stopped, waited 5 minutes, must of been a bug. How bout you, whatcha do today?
