    Yeah, you can pay Blister in Martha's Place to reveal the locations of all the main characters in the game but it only lasts for a week and you have to pay him again.

    As much as we hate 4Kids I do have a fondness for their name changes. A lot of names are changed for the better like Insector and Dinosaur to Weevil and Rex.

    They aren't really making Iris's identity a huge secret. Really, by the time you start the game you'd already know Iris is a gym leader. All the gym leaders are already revealed in the badge screen.

    Why did they translate Cheren to Chelon? His name comes from Ceren which means black in Bulgarian. Just like Bel's name which means white in Russian.

    If you know how localizing works you would know it's not only just translating every text in the game. It is very much more than that. Atlus USA has explained why it would take that long for games to be localized, especially for JRPGs which the Pokemon games are...
