Well I paid about thrice that with 10% Hakko discount in the store - and for my needs I still consider the price cheap. Considering the prices of almost all Japanese things in Japan vs. in other countries, it's great you have the "insider connections". :bow:
In the prehistoric times ( computer factories in Western Europe, all components were through hole etc. ) I worked for a while in computer factory in soldering and testing. We had the good Weller desoldering stations available for failed mobos. After that I've been spoiled tbh and the manual...
Bit the bullet. I dislike the manual desoldering pumps and the desoldering stations are bit too expensive for now. Have several refurb projects waiting anyway with trough hole solders. One poweramp, one Dualsense with broken R3 (Luke used probably too much force) etc...
Monitor - not a TV? Just making sure as PSTV needs HDCP compliant display. If monitor, what happens if you connect PSTV into a TV set?
//EDIT
Also the HDMI cable should be HDCP 2.0 compliant, any old - even working - cable won't cut it.
Found this XBox Stellar Shift controller in broken state. The left stick wasn't working at all, felt "floppy" and practically no response at all. Opened the controller and found out that the potentiometer axle wasn't connected to the stick at all - both were undamaged though. Easy fix - opened...
Yes and no. If anyone ran the affected version (and creator forbid any dev of any project did that) the excretion is going to hit the ventilator hard. The attack was apparently mainly aimed at stealing github etc. user credentials with also "nuking" of Israeli users as an additional, but not...
Cemu Linux builds have been recently compromised and the full extent of damage or countermeasures are still scrutinised.

Definitely interested - for me one of the better Zeldas, if not the best. Have to wait for Wii version support though, as I do not have the GC version. Enough backlog to entertain me for the waiting period anyways.
Bit more home audio equipment - WiiM Ultra streamer. Basically got it for ease of streaming Tidal and as I write I'm redigitizing the parts of my CD collection I don't have in vinyl and setting up Gerbera+Postgres on my home server... If things can escalate, they do escalate.
Waiting for the Trails in the Sky 2nd chapter. Even though lost some of the original charm, I liked the relaunch of 1st more than original due QoL and modernisation.
ROM hack - probably one or the other translation for Vita game not available in English.
Gaming tech - Amiga fully kitted out...
Eden Repos, both release and nightly are still available in Github, basically meaning:
The DMCA was originally made by some other party than Nintendo, but pretended to be.
The DMCA was made by Nintendo, but no action was taken as emulation isn't illegal. Both Yuzu and Ryu were taken down by...
As is libel.
//EDIT
Not affiliated with either project, but Citron main devs constant attacks against Eden seem to be a personal vendetta with claims of stolen code, using AI in development and now this. Unless proof is given on any of these, I'm personally labeling these as libelous.
Having seen the previous attacks by Greemdev against Eden, I'd take his accusations with oceanful of salt tbh. Maybe Ryu can find a maintainer concentrating on coding, instead of scene drama and throwing (baseless?) accusations around.
None of the relevant projects are in github, but for example Eden has the binaries downloadable from there. Development etc. are done elsewhere. The original news headers (and the one in here) are pure click journalism, and this case is also not that newsworthy to start with as the github dmca...
Still pretty much a non issue, if the present emu teams have been smart at all (as they should be after yuzu debacle). DMCA'ing github binary sharing, when actual repos etc. are elsewhere doesn't affect the development nor sharing the binaries a jot.
