lol the series has had one heck of a wild ride. Echoes gives faith for the future though, hoping we see a FE4 remake in the same vein after Three Houses.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Speculation is just that. The bigger concern really is the move away from traditional Fire Emblem and onto a more standard RPG format that caters to those who want everything. The best games thrived in their limited resources and meaningful choices. Giving players the option to get everything is nice, but the series definitely loses something in doing so.

I'm looking forward to Three Houses. I just really hope they don't censor it to fuck... The censorship in Awakening and Fates were really unnecessary.

I don't recall Awakening being awful? But yeah Fates was just a bunch of questionable decisions. What happened to Effie!??? Like removing the face feely stuff was for the better, but the character changes and support conversations were... mmmmmm

I read most of the supports from the Japanese version. It was far more amusing and enjoyable. But no, they think we are too young to be tainted by such vile content.

I will take 8-4 over Treehouse any and every day of the week. Awakening and Echoes are fine imo, when put against the mess that was Fates

The gameplay/story was arguable, but the appalling thing was the localization. Especially when one support is just entirely censored as "..." "..." "..."

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Fates, but I can also acknowledge it's not really a great Fire Emblem game lol. Conquest had some of the best maps in the series tho, Hinoka's map might be my favourite.
