    Also, are import fees a per-store thing or not? I don't remember ever encountering them when ordering from Amazon (the only out-of-country store I actively shop from).

    Third world bullshit haha. I can buy it legit imported from Dell with warranty and everything for something like 1700$, or I could buy an illegal import for something like 1200$. It costs 1100$ in the US tho lol.

    For what it's worth, you should have to pay import fees regardless of the store. Amazon is nice in that it factors import into the overall price at checkout, so it won't be held by your country's customs (where they charge an additional fee). But yeah, import is a biiiiitch.
