I'd invest in some Bluetooth ones but the anal retentive in me wouldn't stop considering the drop in quality, interference, lag etc. Plus it's just one more annoying thing to charge
I would recommend you try some Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 AEBT, to be honest the drop of quality is not noticeably enough (if at all) compared to the increase of comfort. Those sounds quite good already.
But to be honest I've been using some Marshall Monitor BT for a long time, and even though those don't sound as good, I wouldn't go back to cable on the go even if I got paid for it.
Just the name alone sounds like it's more expensive than all my laptops combined x.x
I'd rather just have magnetic headphone plugs. I don't give two shits of fuck about connection quality, it can't be anywhere near worse than the current state of the headphone connectors and cables I have now. Just by rotating my head to the left the plug in my headphone disconnects. Someone needs to invent a fix for this...
@shaunj66 All valid concerns. BT headphones have become cheaper and more common, and the technology in them also has (now you have codecs like AptX HD and LDAC increasing the quality of the wireless transmission which many modern phones and headphones support)
And thanks to them usually also working wired, running out of battery isn't such a huge problem. I would recommend the Sony WH-H900N (h.ear on 2), they sound great for the price and have noise canceling and a 30hr++ battery life.
Yeah, exactly that last part, all BT headphones I had claim 30hr++ of battery usage, and to be honest, I just don't charge them often. One day, perhaps twice a month, I get a low battery warning and charge them up with the nearest microUSB charger I could find. It's true they support using cable, but I never remember to pack the cable along... It's very unusual to even need it.
I like my audio quality high, thank you very much... wires all the way!!!
However, thick coiled wire, that is detachable from the headphones if it would break... perfect! <3
It's actually hard to find non-BT headphones these days. 80% of everything in stores is wireless. But it seems like the bluetooth tax is lower than it used to be.
I only use BT with my phone but it is useful sometimes, for example when I want to listen to the music while I'm moving around the apartment doing stuff. Wires can get in the way.
Yeah but my BT dongle isn't aptx compatible nor is my phone. Not sure whether it's worth shelling out for an aptx compatible dongle. Sounds great already.
