DinohScene
DinohScene
Why not recycle an old IDE?
K3Nv2
K3Nv2
Have none, and since I'll have a 3tb in my pc I wont really need or use it so might as well put it in a orig xbox

DinohScene
Hmm fair enough

DinohScene

it's in the download, it's a bat script iirc
K3Nv2
K3Nv2
Yeah just think you drag and drop your bin file in and create iso
DinohScene
DinohScene
Think you'd just run it.

DinohScene

Plonk the HDD in (once it's done formatting and locking by HDMaker) and press the on button.

I meant before like would I be able to match any serial numbers on the drive. Got told new amd builds wont run hdmaker.

Nope.
HDDkey is stored in the EEPROM.
You can extract the EEPROM with a EEPROM reading probe tho.
K3Nv2
K3Nv2
Yeah I have the eeprom saved in my google drive I think
DinohScene
DinohScene
Aye then you could lock it manually somehow and plonk it in the Xbox.
It should spew out a dash error then.
Then you'll need to unlock it and prep it ;p
Or... override the TSOP with a modchip.

DinohScene
I'd say go ahead n try~

Xkeys is ntfs right for formatting
DinohScene
DinohScene
Must be NTFS, otherwise the ISO images won't fit.
You could format it to EXT4, if you got 2 TB worth of games, it'd be easier for the Xkey to load then.

I should still be able to store other files on it such as movies right?
