Still have to wait for a new external to come in and check the model number on it to make sure it's working. I can't remember if my xbox is missing the dvd drive or not but guessing I'd get an error if I booted it up without the drive

Ah well I could probably find one for $50 shipped on ebay, guessing I couldn't just find a dvd drive from another box and pop it in without getting an error
