I agree. I loved the form factor of the SP and the clicky buttons. I sold mine ages ago when I was hard up for money alongside my other consoles, flash carts etc. One of my biggest regrets...
From a short search on eBay, it appears that a mild conditioned AGS 101 will set one back about 75 USD. Ouch. I knew they raised in price, but that's a tad drastic. Makes me appreciate that I got mine for only 24$. Emulation on phones is also terrible. Playing Metroid or any precise/action game with a touchscreen is asking for trouble.
I could send you mine the next time I'm home if you'd like? Could be a good few weeks until it happens, but since I have a backlit original system, I don't use the SP. It's also been reshelled a little badly, so the power switch can be temperamental... Good enough if you fancy reshelling yourself though lol
I feel like school, back when I was actually in school, was more entertaining though, because of how much I get to interact with people, hang out with friends, and other stuff like that. All I get to talk to at work is my boring coworkers lol
