Just plan some holidays trip to Chile, chill out there, get a good time, visit some new places, and also get your Switch yourself there. They always get those electronics for cheap.

With respect to the language, it is Spanish, so you shouldn't have too many problems, you know Brazilian Portuguese is kind of easy to understand for Spanish speaking South Americans, and I believe you also wouldn't have much of a problem understanding Spanish.

The experience alone is always great, you know, travelling to other countries. Also, as it is Mercosur you will not have problems moving around from country to country and regarding money, well, you will find your way, it may be better to go around with a credit card.
