    How/why will they fund OS updates for deprecated systems? The only way to do that is to collect money for extended support

    The only thing i dont have is brand loyalty. I bought a mac because i didnt like linux, i need professional software as a designer, and i was really, really tired of windows update corrupting my computer.

    i bought an old iPhone because it was cheap, i needed a better phone, and it would technically work with my mac. No brainer right? well you have to try things before you know you dont like it. i like this mac even though its not perfect, but iphones really just suck. i use a Pixel 3 now.

    The reason for games running slow on Mac (that arent native builds) is the sheer amount of translations, or the lack of. if you have an older Mac, those translations can be a bit much. but on more powerful hardware, you need to translate things like directx to metal or vulkan to utilize your processor best.
