    Makes me sad that Bravely Default and FF: Tactics are either codes in a box or game-key-cards.

    I won't be purchasing them. Feels like such a scam.

    That's always a good thing. I like having a physical cartridge with the game data already on it, none of those "digital license" type shenanigans in modern times.

    Yeah...
    It was bad enough when boxed PC games went away. I think the last PC game that I bought physically was Pillars of Eternity, and all that the disc had on it was a Steam exe and license. Just sad.

    Ah, actually - Shovel Knight for PC had the entire game on-disc.

    Yes, be like the Shovel Knight devs and put the full game on the disc - no DRM, no extra BS, just the game. Doesn't matter if anyone pirates your game, we deserve to play them for future generations, and I'm sure they'll make a lot of profits from copies sold alone and media attention anyways.
