Nice! But as you know, I appreciate the human side of things more than technical side. And that's why I ask you: are you comfortable in the new environment? Are you better, away from your father? I commend you, don't lock yourself in your den all the time, take some walks outside and try to socialize if you can. :)

"Are you better"→Not yet!
Still so many things to unpack+find
Mount curtain rails
Buy+mount new shelf rails, hooks and boards (like in the picture, but bigger) for the designated lab→I'm sick of the drilling machine!
Take picture of each part of the gaming collection→insurance company demands it
Hook up 5.1 surround system
(Hopefully) have plasma TV repaired: two HDMI failed
Setup Pi-Hole
Setup Win10 for my mum

“I appreciate the human side of things more than technical side.”
Without my stuff up and running I’m not gonna be satisfied.

“are you comfortable in the new environment?”
No. Too much concrete.

“don't lock yourself in your den all the time, take some walks outside”
Yes. And riding the bike. Planned for once the work is done

“try to socialize if you can”
Jumping into a pool full of sulfuric acid? No!

Instead of posting the same image again, I'll ping @Alexander1970 and @Blauhasenpopo at this point.

Besides: My luck once again. Riding the bicycle and the mount of the rear mudguard broke apart. Now I'll have to have this repaired as well.

Well, it's not that is indispensable: you can do very well without it (as for me I have always ridden only Mountain Bikes 😉).
Don't tell me that a manually skilled person like you, armed with a welder (soldering iron), can't fix a fender (mudguard)?
