I can think of much worse than an FX-6300 to be left with, Maybe not a top of the range processor but it isn't no slouch either

On the surface nothing ... until it comes time to cool it - it's virtually impossible to cool it adequately so you end up just underclocking and undervolting. You would be much better overclocking the 8350 as its much easier to cool and max is about that of the 9590
