color wise, and also in the fact that sylveon could be considered to look like what one might consider girly despite being a species that is mostly male...the thing is though is said gender ratio is a carry over from eevee which was determined ages ago before even adding a new type much less fairy type or sylveon was a consideration....why am I going so hard on talking about a series that died for me...

Yeah the whole gender ratio thing definitely wasn't intentional. And I'm pretty sure the colors weren't either. After all, I hadn't even seen the trans flag until probably around 2016, 3 years after X/Y released

pfft. the existence of trans people wasn't a thing I even knew about till somewhere around there or maybe later...I also have xenophobes for a family...so that very well could be part of it...at least I've grown as a person past just blindly following them :/
