That happens to you too?! I've noticed this rather often. It's very strange. Usually after a full day of using the same glass.

YES, YES EXACTLY! I'm getting really frustrated, because I only drink water out of them. I drink stuff like soda/tea out of cans. I literally just grabbed this one from the clean dish cabinet and it fucking reeks. What the hell is happening?

I'm not sure.. Maybe we both need to clean out our dishwashers? They usually don't smell like that if I hand wash them, so it could be some crap in the washer's filter. Maybe.

I hand-wash all my dishes, so that couldn't be the problem..

Well then.. there must be tiny dogs living in the cabinets!

THOSE BASTARDS! That's the only logical explanation. That must be it.

Is it perhaps the water itself? Tap water? Here it smells like an old fart instead of a wet dog.

Edit: what material is the glass made of? Plastic ones are notorious for this.

One cup is actual glass that gets it the worst, my plastic cup not so much. But the water I'm drinking is tap water that's been purified via a Brita pitcher filter. When I pour the water into a plastic solo cup, I don't get the smell, no matter how many times I reuse it, leading me to believe it's something with the way I'm washing my cups.
