That would be fantastic. I want a modern Motorola Droid. The ones where the screen slid up to reveal a nice keyboard. I still have mine. Similar to the sidekick, but the screen didn't do a crazy flip.

Physical keyboards are just so much nicer to type with, not to mention better controls for emulators.

Agreed. There are modern phones with physical keyboards, but they're all insanely expensive, most of them starting at around $600. The cheapest one I've found is the Unihertz Titan, which is a clone of an old Blackberry, but with a lot of modern enhancements (such as Android, fingerprint scanner, etc.) but even that's $350.

Ha, and I was envious of the sidekicks! I do remember Droid could run Super Metroid and SMW (with a frame skip of 1 or 2 iirc). Not sure how well the Sidekick did with that.

Yea I've seen a few of those phones, and they are ridiculous. Like, I don't need the very latest Snapdragon processor.. just make a decent phone with a real keyboard at a reasonable price. And NOT a Blackberry clone! lol.

Hehe, I was real proud of the Sidekick for the short period I had one. I never did any emulation on it, but come to think of it, it'd probably kick ass with that.

YES, EXACTLY! So many unnecessary features crammed into these things to raise the price and specs high enough to make them seem like a 'flagship' device. I never liked the Blackberry keyboard. Waaay too cramped for me.

    @K3Nv2 I got some cheapies at wallys, that are pretty good, already have lost a few expensive ones (one falls out and gone, can't find) while cutting grass so bought some cheap ones, and of course never lose these cheap ones. (Cheap meaning only $35, compared to air buds which I only have 1 of 2 now)
