Switch has a really bad wifi chip! When out in my workshop all other devices connect fine but swich can't even detect the signal.

I've started using connectify (an app for pc) to make a hotspot from my laptop (couldn't enable native hotspot for some reason, but the app works). The free version is enough for me. Bonus is you can pass your VPN connection to the switch, which may improve NAT type.

I've literally pressed it against the router and it still doesn't connect. I've tried a hotspot on my phone, I've tried my friend's router, I've tried screaming both in English, and в Русский, (in Russian) to no avail. Sometimes it'll connect for about a week, then stop connecting for another week or two. I'm so sick of this piece of garbage.

    @K3Nv2 I got some cheapies at wallys, that are pretty good, already have lost a few expensive ones (one falls out and gone, can't find) while cutting grass so bought some cheap ones, and of course never lose these cheap ones. (Cheap meaning only $35, compared to air buds which I only have 1 of 2 now)
