It may take a lot of swiping to find one particular title among mountable games (Album menu) stored on an external drive.
Is there a way to search among games?
Alternatively: order them by name, display them as list... use a special theme to at least display more titles at once... any trick to find & mount a game faster?
Thanks!

Use tinfoil instead for game launching.
When used in sxos (not atmos), tinfoil can mount xci and it has a faster, better interface than sxos album.
Sounds promising but in Tinfoil what is see is the list of previously inserted games (only) in the Installed menu and get "Insert the game card" on selecting one of them. How would you see the full list?

You have to tell tinfoil where your xci are.
Open tinfoil
File Browser
Right pannel
Press - for new
Protocol usbhdd
Path /your/xci/folder/
X save
Close tinfoil
Plug hdd
Open tinfoil
There should be a new 'xci' option on the left menu.
Enjoy

They XCIs are now listed indeed, thanks a lot.
However, the only thing I seem to be able to do is Install. Is it possible to somehow just Mount?

I just put a couple of xci on my SD card and opened tinfoil, went to the xci and used X to launch the game

X doesn't do anything. Maybe better to ask in the Free SXOS thread I guess?

Last edited by LiborNX,
I have just tried with xci at the root of the SD card: they get listed in the xci menu of Tinfoil but "X Launch" doesn't do anything.
I also noticed that "L Copy" and "R Dump NSP" are also inactive. "A Install" and "Y Info" do work...

Any idea why?

That i don't know, here at me the x launch the game
SX OS emunand 11.0.0
Standard SXOS or Free One (Reacher17's method)? If the latter: are you on SysNAND / Partition EmuNAND / SD Files EmuNAND? Which version of the script did you use?
Thanks!

i tried this and it works flawlessly. Did not know about it until now. Thank you, this would be pretty neat on Atmos, I now its not likely, but man would it be cool to mount XCI this way.

Awesome!
Was that with a legit SXOS license or Reacher17's hacked license? Which Tinfoil version?
In my case (Reacher17's SXOS), all the above steps do work but pressing X for launch doesn't mount the game (nothing happens)...

SXOS has an auto launcher.. You have to put it ion the SD and then you can start games by clicking on the icon on the home page. you have to have at least played the XCI once to get it to show up.. It will say insert cartridge for a second and then start the game.. Not alphabetical but you can start things the same way the other CFWs work.
