I wonder if they still make money with SMP

AshuraZro · Apr 27, 2021

Better late than never. I picked this up at the start of the year for a good co-op mode with my fiancé. We may be able to make use of this for partner party with another team so I'm all for it.

According to Famitsu, it's the 9th bestselling Switch game
It was also the 12th bestselling game during a period of April, if I'm understanding this correctly

Is it really THAT bad, or is it just the lack of boards people are mostly upset with?

jt_1258 · Apr 27, 2021

70/80 of the total mini games...could be a little better but that can be lived with

It's an alright Mario Party game. The main issue was the lack of boards as there's only about 5(?). At least it's far better than Mario Party 10

For me it's really just the boards. Four boards with little variation gets old, especially when the minigames are nothing to brag about

Its an Alarm for people to know that Super Mario Party 2 its been made

PatrickD85 · Apr 27, 2021

It took 2,5 years to get this.
Im guessing themes will be coming soon as well then.

Good way to incite players to subscribe to Online service..

BraveDragonWolf · Apr 27, 2021

Never heard of a "free" update because, usually when there's an update, you just...update.
In terms of paid subscriptions, it's only free when you pay...?

Help me get my point across...

They're making a point to let people that don't always quite understand these things, that it is a free update to the game, rather than a paid DLC addition. I've also seen the term "free update" probably literally thousands of times.

Even after 3 years and we still don't have Geno as a playable character.

This garbage still lacks the ability to skip repeated tutorials and only has a handful of maps, doesn't it?

Eh, if you're into the luck-based, skill-less, rage-inducing Party series, just stick with the first few games - from what I hear, anyway.

the gamecube ones are the best they have lots of items to fuck over your friends with
