The modern hitman games were already the closest thing we had to a playable bond, just add more gadgets and a british accent and we'll be good to go. If there ever was a golden pairing of dev and IP then this is it.
Very interesting. I played a lot of Goldeneye on N64 and Nightfire on Xbox, but haven't really seen a 007 game since that's really interested me. I just really hope it's not a stealth game. I know it'd make sense with the theme of Bond being a spy and whatnot, but not only do I hate stealth games, but I can see far too much potential for it to be a stale knockoff of one of the Hitman games with an interesting story and boring, recycled gameplay.
Bond an Link share an inherent weakness compared to the Elder Scrolls character and Agent 47: They cannot choose to do evil deeds (except throwing vases around or being unfaithful to their women).
Has Bond ever been unfaithful? He has tempted several into unfaithfulness which might count in that but as far as being it in the first place... harder.
