I updated Descent 1 with several fixes and brought it up to modern Atmosphere standards.
I spent a lot of time on getting the controls and sound just right.

The game crashes for me every time I die.

The performance, runs at 25-40fps for me. I can't remember how the original releases ran as its been years since I played them. Were they 60fps originally?

Even at max over clock I can only get 50fps.

Descent 2 is fine when you die, same general performance. 30-40fps. When you drop the resolution to 480p in Descent 2 the screen is split and the cockpit appears on the left of the screen.

In both games clicking 'disable cockpit view' in options throws up a message about anisotropic filtering?
