Hi, this is where I found the HD package for the game so I decided to share what I made here.
After playing Final Fantasy XII International - Zodiac Job System SLPM-66750 for some time, I felt like it needed some mods to makes it better.
[Fullscreen Cutscenes]
- Makes in-game movie cutscenes fill the full PS2 framebuffer instead of appearing in the smaller original presentation.
[Shared EXP for All Party Members]
- All party members gain EXP, including those not currently in the active party. EXP is divided across the full roster so this does not simply multiply the normal EXP reward.
[L1 Speed Boost - 1.20x]
- Changes the normal L1 field speed boost from 4.0x to a gentler 1.20x. Normal gameplay speed stays unchanged when L1 speed boost is off.
Normal battle gameplay speed feels sluggish and x4 speed boost feels like cheating.
By using an LLM AI, you can change the speed to your liking quite easily if you feel like it's too fast or too slow. A friend of mine felt that 1.10x was better and decided to go for that, just open the patch with a notepad and copy paste the function, the AI will modify it for you.
[Bazaar do not reset]
- When buying a Bazaar package, only the loot actually required by that recipe is consumed from the Bazaar's hidden sold-loot counters. Extra quantities are kept for later recipes, and repeatable Bazaar goods are refreshed correctly.
Installation:
- Download the latest PCSX2 nightly build.
- Put the patch file 1E7A88A7.pnach to the PCSX2 patch folder (...\PCSX2\patches\1E7A88A7.pnach).
- Game Properties > Patches > Enable what you want to go with.
