It is my most anticipated game of all time so I kinda had to, but the pre-order exclusive cover would've forced my hand anyway since I'm a sucker for limited editions. The only way to make this better would be with a gold cart instead of red lol.

No. It looks beautiful and I'd love to check it out at some point, but I'd just finished OoT and I still have a bunch more Zelda games to play for the first time.

Yes, from Amazon France. The cover will be in French, but the cartridge is the same as everywhere.

I tried finding Metroid Ravenous for a cheaper price on Amazon France, nope, it's the same across all.

No, I have not.

Why? I’m buying digital so I can play asap. Giving them my money ahead of time makes zero difference (to me).
I‘m preordering the key from Amazon Japan.
It’s the cheapest price, unlocks a day earlier and Amazon only charges on release day.

Makes no difference to me coming early, I can only spend time relaxing when I'm off.

Anyway, the game looks kind of amazing, but the "glossy" graphics might be a bit off putting for some. Star Fox 64 HD had them too and I just skipped it due to it.

I mean it's Nintendo and Zelda, if you're not after some foofy extras, isn't it kind of pointless to secure a preorder on this? I mean I doubt there will be that many scalpers to keep a standard copy out of reach so they can be profiting gatekeepers.

If there's a good deal to pre-order the game then it may be worth it as it won't decrease in value.

Of course.
Pre-ordered the physical copy (obviously) for a couple of reasons. One, it has the fancy cover, two, all pre-orders are cheaper than buying on release here due to the 15-20% discounts (besides, I'm only charged when it gets shipped in some stores, which I mainly use).
