I've done it (and 30 times. 15 on the level 100 dragon and 15 more on the level 120 "true" dragon - meaning I have all the recipe rewards) - and its more artificial difficulty due to the high attack stat needed to do more than 1 damage (making food buffs a requirement), a debuff in phases 2-3 that prevents you form reviving for 30 seconds if you get KO'd, and high damage (including some DPS checks followed by guaranteed OHKO moves if you fail the damage check).

Its absolutely doable with existing cheats (or without cheating at all, but grinding for enough Combat Power +200 food items and Berserk Potion+s will be annoying - especially if feeding them to buddies to up their damage output) but you need to be decent at dodging certain attacks
Great strategy! Did you also put Attack +20 Skills on all your Armor Pieces and Accessories as well? Or did you use a Magician Build with +20 Magic Attack on all your Armor Pieces and Accessories? I am assuming the Hunter is the best Life for the Primordial Dragon, yes?

Neither. Frosty Fish Stew+ and Berserk Potion+ were plenty to do good damage with bow's heavy charged attack (double +10% charged attack with +10% charged attack aging on TT bow -> double +30% charged attack with +10% charged attack aging on [T]DD bow). I did double Damage Reduction -15 on a mix of Azure and Blaze dragon pieces (to roughly even out the defenses and have both over 1100) with [All] Element Resist +3 on the cape (any cape with 29 defense listed before craftiong works), accessory (highest defense is Edward's Fob Watch, purchased with Goddess Fruit form Marco's shop after reaching Base Camp rank 10), and specs (best are Angler's Goggles or Adorable Eyepatch), which let me survive every non-guaranteed-OHKO attack except a direct hit from the True Dragon's fireballs, meaning I had a chance to pause and heal if I made a small mistake, thus saving the run. Buddies were Rouge (for her attack increases when less combat lives ar ein the party, plus how Merc tends to draw agro naturally) and two Alchemists (my highest level crafting life buddies. Bonus synergy with Rouge's attack buff and their ability to resotre my SP when spamming the heavy charge attack). Other buddy combos definitely work (especially ones using Odin/Mustang to draw agro) - this is just what I used.

Damian and Odin are a good combination as well since Odin grants a defense buff when Damian is in the party. I like using Jerry as well since he is the only healer for the Hunters and provides decent damage when attacking with me as a Hunter. Gonna have to try my own combination of Buddies to see which ones fits my combat needs. I like going full assault, so a couple of DPS Buddies and a healer should be a sufficient party for the Primordial Dragon :gun:

Is the Primordial Dragon that hard, even with some of the most useful cheats activated? Can that thing be beaten with Buddies equipped with the best gear possible? Just wanted to know from your experience as I have yet to challenge that thing :P
The True Primordial Dragon isn't too hard to beat, but each fight takes at least over seven minutes. There are 20 True Black Dragon recipes to collect in total—it's really tedious.

the little bit of Defense Daemon (previously Damien on 3DS) gives Odin doesn't really make a difference. Also buddy healing generally isn't up to snuff/fast enough unless you're using someone like Hilda whose special is the healing move (and buffed by other affinity perks so it actually heals more than 50% HP). Its far more reliable to abuse how combat pauses when you bring up the menu in solo and heal right away before you can get hit again.

I tried to use the code but I am not sure if I am doing it wrong. I use the use multiplier and pick up. But it corrupts the file.

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue on the game. My info: TID: 0100755017EE0000 & BID: 26CE9F3CC0393826

I used a cheat to set a career to level 100, but for the Artist career I didn’t receive any skill points at all. So now I’m stuck at level 100 with 0 skill points, and I can’t gain any since there are no more level-ups.

I’ve tried using “Inf max skill point 999 (when use)” and “Skill point gain x”... no effect.

It seems like the game considers the career fully completed and doesn’t give me any more skill points.

Does anyone know a cheat to directly add skill points, or a way to reset a single career for my version of the game?

Thanks in advance for any help 🙏

The reason for that is that Skill Points are awarded when the game processes the level up. Directly forcing your level skips that step, so it is never advisable to do that. If you have to cheat your level, modify exp instead (overcapping exp is not a problem but you need 100 million exp to go from 1 to 100)

As a one-time fix: use the following code to reset Artist - but this code has some special conditions to make sure nothing breaks and your save won't have unnatural values.

Important: first you need to reset your skill tree for artist (at the talking flower in either guild hall. it only costs 10k dosh) to fully refund all your points. At level 100 you'll have enough to unlock everything, so don't worry about missing out on any of it in the meantime. Save here in case something goes wrong (but it shouldn't).

Next, use the following code to reset to level 1 and no skill points -but with enough exp for level 100. Turn it off after you see it has an effect - but DO NOT SAVE unless you're returned to level 1 with no skill points for Artist.

Lastly: with the code off, gain exp from any source as Artist. I recommend picking up a gatherable item like a flower. This will update your exp and sent you to level 100 using the method the game intended, rewarding skill points as it should

Thank you soooo much, it worked!!!

Threw together a few new codes. They're not true immortality/infinite SP/OHKO codes, but they function close enough (and should be easy to update when needed since they use the same pointer base as many of my other codes). NOTE: THESE CODES HAVE HAD SEVERAL CORRECTIONS SINCE FIRST POSTED. Update your list as needed. Max SP code especially had to be adjusted since the game would reset current SP to 0 with the previous value (natural SP regen overflowed to a negative number, it seems).

also managed to revive one of the old moonjump codes (turns out the assumptions were incorrect on the variable size in the original code [its f64, not f32], but it still worked despite that). Edit: there was a minor error in this code, but its fixed now.

Due to a false assumption on my part in the first code, I accidentally made a "ultra hard mode" code (player always has 1 HP). Since it might be a fun challenge, here's a modified version to expedite that same end:

further edit: it seems the pointer for the stat codes can be inconsistent under some circumstances. Currently working on a more stable one but it might be a little while.

Code repair edit: Pointer is now fixed. The code should now work even if you quit to menu and resume without closing the game itself. Also reworked the pseudo-immortality code so it doesn't modify max HP (since it kept resetting you to "normal" HP on every level up them treating you like you were low HP when it updated the max again). You only take 1 damage from virtually everything so you should be fine even with normal HP. The only other change would be finding the Damage Reduction stat to further ensure it.

Bonus edit: Two more codes. Functionally they're OHKO gathering and instant-complete crafting codes

it has also come to my attention that getting your first Goddess Fruit from Marco's mystery boxes instead of a grove may give the item a different item ID. Here's an updated code that should account for that:

Thank you so much for doing this. I wondered if you, or anyone, could please include a cheat to get all the resident recipes. This is an impossible task of just luck and would take ages to complete if at all. If someone could make this cheat that would be a great help. Thank you.

Hi everyone! I made a save editor for the game, it supports all the platforms, switch included. Let me know if there are any glitches or bugs, but from my experience everything works fine. I'm trying to add as much functions as possiple, so let me know if there are any missing :)

Thank you so much, this is great. Would it be possible to include recipes please as the resident recipes are impossible to get - for me anyway. I can see recipe information there but they are in code.
