Price increase amount confirmed for the Switch 2 in the UK, set to come into effect September 1st

with the small out of titles that are getting released for the Switch 2 and most of them being better on PC or other systems I think its safe to say that the Switch 2 is in trouble at this point.

It feels more like the Wii U or other failed systems where they abandon it and move on to the next idea. If they dont abandon it they just will get a negative dip in numbers and the amount of people that have Switch 1s and Switch 2s will move on to other systems because it just isnt a good setup for the price. Not that the other consoles are priced great but at least for the price there is alot more to justify the costs.

The thing that attracted alot of people to the Switch 1 was the price point being so low but that isnt the case with the Switch 2 where the console is more expensive and the games are more expensive. Its basically for the fanboy market only.

It hadn't been increased yet in these markets. As of right now it's still the same price as when it launched (while Sony and Microsoft have increased their prices more than once in the same amount of time).

It's been selling very well so you're just plain wrong. You can wish for the Switch 2 to flop as much as you want, that is not the case.

Currently the S2 is selling for below RRP on places like Amazon (£375) and I wouldn't be surprised to see them increase the price at some point to the new RRP.

Definitely glad I got in and got my Switch 2 + Mario Kart + Danky Kang for £420 before the price increase.

Though I would happily sell this model if they released one with a better screen cus the ghosting looks like ass.
