Everyone thinks The Elder Scrolls VI will be called Sentinel

Over the past week, rumors have started swirling as Redditors (probably correctly) deduced the title of the upcoming Elder Scrolls game, which will apparently be Sentinel. Following a post from Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, who enjoyed a gameplay demo of the game at Bethesda, where she hinted that the name of the next game might be an 8-letter word, old easter eggs resurfaced.

On top of that, a former Bethesda employee apparently confirmed the name after it started emerging. Do you believe in this rumor? Do you expect it to be correct, or do you think it's just collective imagination? On a scale from 0 (starfield) to 10 (morrowind) how excited are you about this next Elder Scrolls game?

Problem with these games is same that annoys me with Halo games.

Your character doesnt even look like it belongs in the world.

Old fashioned 90s games where it was a model running like a tank press button it floats with slight leg bend animation to look like a piss poor jump.

I installed oblivion remake again just to see if I could try it, and god reminds me of skyrim, so it seems these devs too are like halo where they dont improve anything other than make the map bigger.

I would say that Skyrim reminded you of Oblivion.
Oblivion, when it landed, was massive, Skyrim was a damned juggernaut with the release date and dragon's coming in.
It's only natural that Skyrim was an expanded, prettier (debatable), Oblivion. It has some serious shoes to fill.

Damn, I love that game (Oblivion). I'll have to return to it after I let go of Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen, which will still take a while.

I'm convinced a lot of people can only play and enjoy one iteration of this game

My older brother played Morrowind first, and neither Oblivion or Skyrim lived up to his expectations

I played Oblivion first, and Skyrim didn't live up to my expectations

And people I know who played Skyrim first couldn't go back and beat Oblivion or Morrowind

They are all kind of the same game - so once you sunk 300 hours in one, it's hard to really get into the others

It's cool and all, but it's hard to get excited for bethesda games. I know it's obvious, but they're just so painfully buggy when they first release..

Youight be on to something there. I can't go and play Morrowind.
I am yet to play Skyrim, and I'm sure I'll love it, but I am not yet ready to release my arisen.

Yea Outer Worlds was good, 2 was ok, but not as good as, say Skyrim. Skyrim was epic in its own way. Even Starfield was good imo, but not "groundbreaking". I'm a huge Fallout fan down deep, and enjoy Fallout 76 still today, but after all these, they better step up. Tbh I'm more looking forward to new Fallout than Elder Scrolls, but excited to have both. "Take my money please!"

That's amusing that people think Microsoft/Bethesda gives a fuck enough about a "layoff controversy" to do such a thing. Microsoft killed companies before, and just completely ignored the backlash they got.
