Ocarina of Time. I got distracted from it for a while, which happens for me sometimes and is not a reflection on how good the game is, and now I'm delaying the endgame until I've found the last couple of fuckin' golden skulltulas. Oh and a couple of other little side tasks.

I've got a ton. Some that come to mind:

Zelda WindWaker - I got to the triforce hunt part and it was such a long, boring, tedious grind that I said F it. Tried again years later and had a guide and everything, and even with a guide it was way too tedious to want to complete.

Metroid Prime 4 - I bought a Switch in 2019 for this game, that's how big a fan I am of the series. When I got it, I had read mixed impressions online but figured it's better than what people were saying. Nope. It's just kind of soulless feeling. I got the bike and didn't enjoy it. Hated how forced progression was in a linear route. Areas felt pretty generic overall. I got half way through the ice area and was so bored I haven't touched it since the week it came out.

FF6 - I've started it over 20 times, made it to the WoR maybe 5 times, but as muchbas I like the game it overstays its welcome for me. I get burnt out collecting all the characters in WoR and never seem to finish it.

Perfect Dark - One day I'll finish it. Just got an N64 style controller for my switch and I'm working my way through all the games. Loved Goldeneye but at the time PD came out I was more focused on PC shooters like Counterstrike 1, Unreal Tournament, etc. When I did play PD it was for the exceptional split screen death match mode.

I haven't learned any skills... Maybe I should? Or should I keep grinding without it? A no-skills run would be quite a challenge.
Back from the future after finishing both the first and second one, here are some tips:

Yes. Learn skills, some do raise your stats as the description says but specific skills are needed to get certain specialities or item creation skills, like crafting, and cooking, some characters are better than others at doing some of these things, characters talents back this up, though even if their not, enough failures of them doing an item creation skill and it'll just give them the talent that makes them good at it lol

Crafting, customization and blacksmith are great ways to get op along with leveling skills that up your stats, especially since you can save scum should you fail.

In a nutshell, always always visit the skill store when arriving in a new town for new skills, as the earlier you can get the enlightenment and effort skill, the better. You will level up fast and get skill points fast with both and you'll be able to get any skill you need, fast.

(Also the level cap is 255 so dw if you've already missed out on some power leveling)

Hope this helps, I had to sit down and give it another chance myself and it was alot less complicated than I thought

Crash 4 for some reason it just didn't keep me hooked the same way the classics did. I do feel like going back to it now that I'm thinking about it though.

Space Factorio, because as fun as it is GLEBA sadly does exist. And holy moly is it not quite for me. Especially not after already having spent like a hundred hours on the game before. So at the point where I get there, I'm usually just like "Alright, enough factorio for the next half year".
Still a great game though. But Vulcanus just spoils you rotten
