For rebasing, ignore lables unless you are sure the old version has the exact label you are looking for. Don't make assumptions based on the labels you are finding now for the current version. However doing so, you may however find new different ways to get the same result you are looking for. Or the label might be a dud. Anyways happy cheating and good luck. :)

I am trying to make an asm hack from a function in the asm viewer. But Breeze is not offering an easy template in the composer menu.

I can create the stack and insert the instruction, but I cannot make a branch in the code cave that is recognised. Even with the jump to branch button.

Manually changing the 'success' instruction cset w0, gt to cset w0, #1 changes nothing as it reverts when I leave the screen.

I see now i have been going about rebasing the wrong way.

Somehow, my scout success cheat works, but in a very ugly way. And if you were 100% successful anyways, the hack softlocks the game. I will have a look at the one you posted now, did you do this yourself just now? Edit: it works brilliantly

Im a complete noob and have been spending dozens of hours learning since last week. I will try to better my understanding of how these functions and instructions can be interacted with in Breeze.

Cset w0, #1 is not a valid instruction.
Try mov w0, #1

It is from TomSwitch. I know nothing of this cheat or game. I just updated it for you to the correct address.

Thank you so much for the effort of that, I've learned a lot having an actual correct address now.

Could I ask how you updated it so readily? Im assuming you didn't download the title itself to explore?

Easy Template is only there when ASM composer is empty, after that it change to Cycle data type.

Four button press in the easy case. Less than a minute even if you have problem finding the buttons.
Breeze does the looking for code cave work for you. It is your responsibility that no other cheat invade this space.

Thank you very much! It seems I was completely overcomplicating this by looking at the wrong instruction. Easy template is working fine for me now

I would love to know how you got both the old and new main dumps so quickly to do that! I'm struggling even to find the old build ID to compare or try the tool

You don't change the file name to match the bid of the game, you change the game binary (by applying the correct update) to match the bid of the file name. Cheats are very sensitive to the game binary's offset. Just do a binary compare if you don't believe any revision change the offsets drastically.

Think of it as prescription medicine. You don't change the name on the prescription and hope to give it to another person. You go find the person the prescription is for.
