"Moores Law" is grinding into Reverse Gear. First they gave us back the 5800X3D, now we are seeing the 5 year old RTX 3060 return as well.
It could be argued that Moores Law has been dead a while now.. but it never went into full reverse before.

... Well, this is new.

Have been considering getting a used(!) Nvidia of this kind or very similar. Experiments with hashcat could be fun.
These things are already severely overpowered. Paying in four digit €-range for a GPU rarely makes sense in my opinion.

Nvidia makes big, big money by producing things like H100 or B200... but they shouldn't forget about their gamer customer base.

Oh @KleinesSinchen theyve forgotten about US a long time ago.
Even AMD has now, even if their products are cheaper with better Linux support, theyre not perfect either, im sad to say.
The promise of ill-gotten gains does that to people/corporations
