Hello GBAtemp community!

I've put together a specialized camera homebrew tool called CyberCamera. This utility interfaces directly with the 3DS hardware cameras to offer a unique visual style.

A retro-futuristic, cyber-styled camera utility for the Nintendo 3DS, heavily inspired by late 90s/early 2000s Y2K tech and industrial UI designs.

Key Features:

📸 Camera & Video Capture:

  • Video Recording: Capture and record video footage directly using the 3DS camera hardware.
  • Zoom Support: Real-time digital zoom controls to easily get closer to your subject while capturing.
  • Shutter Sound Toggle: Added an option to easily turn the camera shutter sound on or off in the settings.
  • Real-Time Filters: Apply stylized filters to your camera feed in real-time before snapping photos or recording.
  • Cyber/Y2K Interface: A beautiful, retro-futuristic control layout reminiscent of classic early 2000s handheld devices.
🖼️ Gallery & Utilities:

  • Native Gallery with Audio: Browse your captured folder inside the app's native gallery with full audio integration (listen to your recorded videos directly!).
  • Gallery Zoom: Zoom support added for both photos and videos right inside the gallery.
  • Timer Capture: Built-in countdown timer for automated and delayed photo capture.
  • Dual-Lens Access: Seamless toggle support for both the inner and outer 3DS camera sensors.
  • High-Quality Export: Capture and export your photos directly to your SD card in 2x BMP format.
GitHub Repository & Download:The project is fully open-source. You can grab the latest build here::github: Taifuoguru/CyberCamera

  1. Download the latest .cia file from the Releases section on GitHub.
  2. Copy the .cia file to your 3DS SD card.
  3. Open FBI on your 3DS, navigate to the file, and select Install CIA.
Any feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions are highly appreciated. Let me know what you think!
