NetherSX2 - Nintendo Switch port

This is a wrapper/port of the Android version of NetherSX2.
It loads the original Android emulator core, patches it and runs it.
It's basically as if we emulate a minimalist Android environment in which we natively run the original Android binary as is.

Features

  • Cover art — auto-download from SteamGridDB (one game or the whole library)
  • Region flags (US / EU / JP) and a sortable library
  • Per-game settings — override any option per title; rename and delete games
  • Full controller remapping, stick config, deadzone, and vibration
  • Resolution scaling up to 6× (4K), aspect ratio, widescreen / no-interlace patches,
shade boost, CRT/TV shaders, and the full graphics / enhancement / audio option set
  • Experimental network adapter (DEV9 / Sockets) — off by default, opt-in in Settings → Network

Renderers

Choose in Settings → Graphics → Renderer:
  • Vulkan (NVK) — recommended; best compatibility and performance in most games
  • OpenGL — alternative if a game misbehaves under Vulkan

Cores

Choose in Settings → Emulation / System → Core version:
  • Patched (4248) — The most recent one
  • Classic (3668) — an older build; Can get better performance on less powerful devices

Credits :
  • The AetherSX2 / PCSX2 developers for the emulator.
  • The NetherSX2 maintainers for the patched Android builds.
  • fgsfds for the Switch so-loader groundwork reused here.
  • TheOfficialFloW for the original Android so-loader lineage.
  • Dantiicu - Switch Vulkan driver.
  • Slluxx - IconGrabber.

Yes mostly CPU if u keep x1 res
There is no point doing Vita3K or any other open source emulators via this method

FINALLY a Deux Ex on my Switch, can't believe it!.. My eternal gratitude for that, dear @Nagaa!.. :hrth:

i have nethersx2 on my nintendo switch android. how was the framerate? is it the same like on the android lineage os? or is this much better without overclock i think?

Nice. Thanks.
We already have armsx2. Does this run better?
I tried only Devil may cry 3 special edition, first and second level.
My Switch overclocked to CPU 19XX GPU 12XX RAM 22XX
Using ARMSX2 vulkan render, the game runs 50-60fps, it is playable, however, at some certain point, game will stutter for 1 second, may be shader compile, wish author could make it asynchronous.
Using ARMSX2 deco3d render, the fps is better than vulkan, but there are graphical bugs, and stutters like using vulkan render.
Using NetherSX2, with almost same settings as ARMSX2, the fps is much lower than ARMSX2, making game slows down.
So, in terms of DMC3, both emulators are not playable. I know there are native DMC3 NS version. Just test.
