Version 7 is now available. I'm calling this the Customisation Update!

This is one of the biggest DS Style updates so far, focused on giving users far more control over how the kernel looks and feels. It adds new interface options, improves the built-in help system, makes custom styles easier to install, and refines the overall look and feel of the kernel.

Some highlighted features for this new version:

LanguageAdded Thai language support. Thank you aidia_dayo!
CustomisationAdded more interface options, including 12/24 hour clock, cleaner list view, rounded thumbnail corners, thumbnail borders, hiding system files, selectable starting screen, and carousel alignment options.
ArtworkAdded thumbnail artwork support for games written to NOR.
CheatsRefined the cheat screen and cheat selection behaviour.
InterfaceImproved the general menu look and feel throughout.
HelpImproved the Help pages with clearer built-in guidance.

You can check the changelog to see the full list of changes.

Let me know if you have any issues with the new version. Hope you like it!

Note: Custom kernels/themes should now be placed in SYSTEM/KERNELS and loaded on the GBA using the Load Style option under Interface settings. The THEMES folder is no longer needed.

Sorry if this has already been answered, I did a quick search and didnt see anyone answer. Does this work with the newest Omega DE "ezode-b"? The ezflash website says it requires a different kernel and firmware from the reva and rev b omega DE.

It does not. EZ-Flash hasn't provided the source files for the Edition B's kernel yet, so no one can do anything at the moment.

All of the default “DS Style” looks are now bundled into the main kernel download.

In the settings menu, you can choose any of the original DS colours, as well as light or dark mode.

For alternative looks, there are two themes I made linked on the Customiser download page, plus any others that people make themselves using the Customiser program that have been posted here. These can be put in a THEMES folder on the root of the SD card, and switched between on the device (how the earlier versions switched colours or light/dark)

So if you just want the DS-style interface with colour and light/dark options, the main download already includes everything you need.

If enough people make alternative themes it’d probably be a good idea to start a new thread so it’s easy to browse them all. So far though I believe there’s just the yoshi one based on a slightly older DS Style version.
Sorry for the late reply it's been quite a busy few weeks for me lol but this definitely helped me figure it out easier lol. It's awesome to see how far this has come along tho.

Hello, I'm from China. I tried flashing this system and it succeeded, but the game loading menus in the Chinese system are garbled.

Hi. Thank you for your report. I will investigate this and will hopefully fix it soon.

Update: Fixed on my test build, will be included in the next update.
