It's finally here: The 2026 Steam Summer Sale!

Any games you've found at really good discounts?

@Kwyjor mentioned this one in the main thread. I remember people talking about it around release, but then, no one mentioned it again. Is it fun?

Many people felt this was a solid game, so $4 must be a good price for it, right?

I can vouch for this game. If you want more Sonic, you can't go wrong here. Tee Lopes' soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission.

Cave Story+ for $2. I believe the devs even added a co-op story mode. @shadowflare7799

A forgotten gem from the 7th gen. The last game by Pandemic Studios.

Very good Wayforward remake of the NES DuckTales game. Jake Kaufman on music.

A few quick mentions:
* steamworld dig & dig 2: simple "dig dug" platformers that are roguelite but casual in nature. Played through each at least twice. Almost always goes on strong discounts to prices of a few bucks now. Rest of the "steamworld" games are great too, but platformers are my jam
* roundabout. it's a top down open world game in which you are a cadillac...that's constantly spinning. As such, it's more a strange sort of precision puzzler, but it gets dialed up to 11 with the hilarious(ly bad acted) cutscenes.
* towerfall ascension: celeste's predecessor. A simple party game by looks, but it's the full package: local co-op, vs play, campaign. And hitting something with arrows is strangely exciting if it's a trickshot
* stealth bastard: another gem that doesn't get talked about enough. It's a stealth platformer in the style of mark of the ninja. Narrated by GladOS-alike.
