I picked back up sonic advance 2 and did some playtesting, there was alot of bugs i could easily fix. And so i did! this one is fully playable front to back now (albeit some minor visual bugs sometimes).

demo video showcasing it

Go play for yourself!

Demo video has some screen tearing because I have a really cheap capture card

Just gave this a try, good job :) Great to see this natively running on WiiU!

I have run into a few issue though, I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you haven't run into yourself.

Sound is low? seems very quiet to me on max WiiU Gamepad audio.
The menus graphics are glitched, cant select anything in the the options screen :P
Playing through the first stage the graphics glitched halfway through.
Sonics jump sound is weird too?

Apart from those few audio/visual issues tho the performance seemed fine, that's the most important thing.

one of those have been addressed in the newest one, but the sfx being high pitched is something i genuinely cannot seem to find out what's happening
sound is louder now
most audio is present

Where is the new builds hosted? do you have a github?
i actually don't, ive been working on a private fork and posting sparse prereleases in my discord. anywho, i did make a thread for it in gbatemp (the more playable one)
