i appreciate that you do free access weekends. I love ps2 texture packs and realize the time and effort that goes into creating them but i see it as a hobbist point of view and i just cant justify paying someone for the packs.
call me cheap or whatever but im a retro hobbiest.
i wish that more people wouldnt be trying to monetize these texture packs and the community would be more open about sharing them.

Fair point and I've been around long enough to see many on here do it for free just because they love the games and want to share that with others. Then others will take someone elses work and incorporate it into their own or worse charge for it when the original creator had no intention to. In my opinion Bl4ckH4nd's approach is the best solution as it offers a way to support if wanting to or wait a bit and then get a chance for free. I wish there was a better system so others cant just leach off of what's already made.

That's what I did initially, everything was free to everyone until other people started selling my packs, especially when they charged per pack, sometimes up to $15.
I pay for my own file hosting and I paid for all the software I use as well, I didn't pirate it. I get where you're coming from though. I decided to do the free access because I know that some people don't want to pay and there are others who simply can't, whether it be due to finances or platform/payment restrictions in their country.
I don't want to lock people out completely.

Brother, I have to say the Megaman Legends texture pack is fucking GORGEOUS and has been helping me through a hard time. It's actually INCREDIBLE how good it looks and much more enjoyment this allows me to get out of a childhood gem of a game I always wanted to beat but never finished, and might actually beat for the first time thanks to you. I am GOBSMACKED every time I play this by how unbelievably good it looks. Thanks again for this incredible work, bruv. <3 SO many more great PS1 games still need texture packs.

There is someone here who actively works on textures for BT4. The pack I made is very old. If the mod was done, I'd do it but it's constantly being updated and I have too many other games to work on.嘿，兄弟，龙珠BT4 beta 14更新了，你能制作高清材质包吗？

Would you like to try your hand at a texture upscale for Bloody Roar 1 or Bloody Roar 2 via Duckstation? The PS1 texture packs completely revolutionize these old games, and seeing those older games given life via new textures is completely transformative. We def need more texture packs for PS1 games!

Last time I tried Bloody Roar 2, it didn't dump properly, but there have been a lot of updates since then.
I'll give it a go and let you know if it works
I love the results on PS1 games but they're so hard to work with, which sucks, since it's my favourite console.

That's the problem with something that keeps getting updated, lots of new textures and changes to existing texture, which means the best way is to dump everything from scratch each time.
