My dad (or I) had modded his own Wii U forever ago and he wiped its mods with a console update.
He brought it to me in order to try and remod it, thing is when I try to install aroma, I was able to make all the backups of the NAND but following the guide says to then hold X loading the exploit website and go into Aroma on the blu screen. DFoing that loads forever but never gives the yellow screen it's supposed to. I hear the WiiU menu dun dun duns on a black screen.
I see some of his old content on the menu but trying to boot it simply spits an error.
What should I do, he does not remember what hack was used, I personally think it was with an old demo app hack because it's how I did mine back in the day, (might have don it for him then too) and he seems to have the same "Do not touch!" folder as I do which I think is the modified app that was used to do it.
doing futher research it was hacked back in like 2017 with CBHC, I can boot into it and it then allows unsigned content.
what should I do now?
