Gaming I did the dark beast ganon glitch and saved (Zelda BOTW)

I did this glitch , and saved. Now im stuck out of the forcefield with no NPCs, lynels, or anything. Is there a way to reverse this? All of my saves and autosaves are from after the glitch, so i cant load any. There is no way to bring back any NPCs lynels or bosses (ganon). This is on the nintendo switch so i cant hack it to bring it back.

No way to modify saves, so probably not. You may have to just restart. Next time don't save after glitching.
 
I have seen people do the same glitch to get back in the barrier, you just need your hourse back which I have seen people get by walking away from the barrier so that the barrier collition despanws they just wistle at the hourse.

even if you do, it will still load the same state after you beat it.
 
If I can remember properly, I did see one video of a guy doing it to keep the Bow of Light.

You have to go to Lurelin and try to open one of the chests from the gambling minigame. As you do so, the game's NPC will appear, and then, you can fast-travel. Go to Hateno, save your game and then exit the game. When you start again your save, all of the NPCs and the rest of the stuff will be back.

Can't say if it still work, though.

Might be a silly question... do the saves go to NAND or SD? Can't I make a copy of the files on the SD, then if I get stuck, copy back over them?

Trying to prevent all external access. Anything that loads to/from SD has potential to be exploited for homebrew. Mii channel on wii u was used for takeover because it is granted SD access. Nintendo doesn't grant SD access to anything minus a few system apps. They can't trust the user with SD access anymore because that has always lead to homebrew loading from SD.
 
If you saw this on youtube you might of not done it, its known. It was posted back in April and was alongside the Ganon Glitch anyway!

Ya, but that was patched when the DLC 1 was released sadly

any ideas to get back inside the forcefield? i'm stuck outside also and my saves are all after the glitch.
 
I did this glitch too a few months back, there's no way to go back if all your saves are from after the glitch, you're basically stuck like this

As for the missing npcs and such just go to Lurelin Village and interact with one of the chests from that gambling game, all npcs should return

Your only two options now is to either avoid Hyrule Field so you don't activate the Dark Beast Ganon fight or start the entire game over

In the bright side, you now have a fully charged Master Sword and the Bow of Light, lol
 
Restore from Auto-Save.
I saved multiple times afterwards and still got my save file back through Auto-Save.

EDIT: the problem "should" fix itself if you were able to defeat Ganon while outside the force field.
It'll prompt you to save afterwards and fix your game.

Even if you manage to get back in, once you beat dark beast you choose a save to go back to. If all your saves are after the glitch, you're out of luck. Happened to me not too long ago because I dropped my controller during the glitch and when I caught it, it overwrote the manual save. Spent well over 1000 hours on that save file. Never hated gravity more than I do now.
