Right.... I know fuck all about aspect radios and the likes so apologies if this obviously stupid!

Is it possible to NOT have the screen move when approaching the left or right? I have set the extended 16:9 in the dot ini but the edge of the screen moving and the intruding black bar that follows it is quite off putting!
No, the widescreen support is limited in that way, and it can't be improved without significant modification to the game code, which nobody has managed thus far (people have tried methods to improve it and they haven't worked out, so it would take more complicated work).

Thanks for that, I was thinking that may be the issue as I tried everything! It's still real good in parts but I'll prob stick it back to 4:3 then.

Thanks for the update!

Hi everybody, this homebrew does not work on AMS 1.8.0 !!!

Do you have any solving issues ?

I use the v0.3 release and i tried different zelda asset and nothing on my firmware 19.0.1 AMS 1.8 switch

but when i used on firmware older that was working, did you try with firmware 19.0.1 AMS 1.8 switch ?

It works fine.

Are you using a forwarder? If so, it’s probably that. 19.0.1 broke them.

A recompile fixes it. Here (official.7z) is a compile of PR 273, which fixed compiling.

And for those who prefer it, my personal fork has an option to stretch the screen to the ~4:3 ratio the SNES displays at. Default enabled at 4:3 using ExtendedAspectRatio = 4:3, other resolutions use something like ExtendedAspectRatio = aspect, 16:9. Use 8:7 for square pixels.
