I wish I could try this without the frontend. Does this completely change my Switch's main theme or is it like an app I'll open on Sphaira?
Yup, open on sphaira. From there you can set all up

Sonic Adventure 2 runs slowish, but the music is perfectly fine which makes it bearable lol. I suppose that's normal since it's a heavy game and this is still an alpha anyways, but would there be a way to boost it's performance or nah? Maybe with some of the hacks in the options?

While this is cool it's never going to run full speed so can't help feel the work and effort could better go towards something that actually will be fully functional. Like Sega Model 3 or something.

This is just a little novelty that won't really be usable. Unless the work on it carries over to Switch 2 homebrew in the future or something I guess. Still a cool effort 👍
You could fork the project and write it to yourself to improve speed unless?

not to ba a hater, but are we supposed to know him? 1st time i hear of him

tl;dr Dude at one point wasn't releasing source code to emulators that explicitly enforce in their licensing.

PSA: don't try this on older v1 (erista) switches. The imposed overclock is way beyond the safe values for Erista, around 1.2GHz when docked. You will damage your console in the long run.
This is fine in Mariko units, though.
Already discussed before in the, now closed, 4IFIR thread.

Excuse the very dumb question, but is the B button in the Wii core broken or something or am I just dumb. I can't get past the title screen of Rhythm Heaven fever where I gotta press A + B.
About that, is there a way to change the controls at will? Like, to setup them? Or how can I know what button is what button for other consoles
Is on the ZR button in my case

try not to violate the gpl (difficulty impossible)
anyway the vulkan stuff is fake. a test app shouldnt be 5mb if it was correctly implemented.
what i think dan does is wrap around opengl which would be slower than using opengl
it would likely be easier to port dolphin to deko3D than to try and make a vulkan driver for switch/deko3d

For all the wrestling fans (like myself), I tried WWE Day of Reckoning 2 and it works about 90 % great. In hardcore matches some lag, but nothing game breaking. It is one of the most complete Gamecube games in my opinion, so, to have it running immediately with the release of this project, is something so wonderful and incredible. Can't wait for more updates!

(I couldn't run Tony Hawk 4, tho. It freezes on the "Licensed by Nintendo" screen)

Has anyone got success trying Paper Mario TTYD? Mine crashes Tico even with the default options. Skip GameCube bios is on

That's not correct. With UV 1700+ is absolutely fine.
