Johnny Somali attempts to flee to the US in desperate attempt to avoid jail time

Kick streamer, of course. And a lot of Kick streamers were either banned from Twitch or that they do plenty of controversial stuff to get attention and trouble with the law, such as with Johnny Somali. He went to places like Japan and Korea to harass people with bomb threats, racist comments, creating a deepfake GF from a Korean streamer without their consent, and many others crimes.

So there's money in acting like a jackass? Because it costs a lot to fly around to these countries.

Johnny Somali can unite people from all the political spectrums, in wanting to see his ass get at least a decade in a Korean jail.
Hopefully he gets to learn how to farm cabbage.
 
He deserves it.

I wish Germany would properly prosecute our guests (and the citizens as well, of course) for not obeying the law here. But besides tax fraud, there are very few things that will give you jail time.
 
I heard they went easy on him because they can't wait for him to leave the country.

It's just his streaming name. His real name is Ramsey Khalid Ismael, not that it matters anymore.

It can be if you have a large following. This dunce had a small following that actually gave him money to ruin his own life. He'd ask "Hey, how much would you give me if I do ______?", and his followers would give him money, but in the end it wasn't that much.

Once he was arrested and awaiting trial, Korea forces the person waiting to stay in the country using their own money. The trial took a year, so he lost all his savings just awaiting trial.
