What to watch? Hmm. Not sure on that, but the ability to go work out is a great idea for morning time!
I used to visit MMA gyms and defeat people there around 6:00 AM en route to work.
"Why are you breathing hard and sweating coach? It's 7:10 AM!"
Me: "I just KO'd some Krav Maga soliders in a gym nearby around six; the guy missing an eye from active combat sure did it better than the others!"
"Did you win?"
Me: "Well, I'm smiling and not bruised, just breathing hard, so that means..."
"You won! Dang, coach, you do that stuff all the time."
"But Mr _, your hands are bruised! So you _did_ get hurt!"
Me: "That's the bag, it's heavier than them."
"Ooh! Mr _ got you!"
Me: "And now no one in here can tell me they are too tired to learn at 7:15 AM! Pull open Canvas; your assignment is in there! Go knock it out the way I took out the two fifty pound ripped guy that was a head taller than me."
*eager students quickly get to work on the engineering project.*
That's my life.
I'm not sure if you are around that area, but going to a gym to train (or defeat the instructors there) before work is a great way to start off your day!
