Is that the same build I uploaded? It is interesting there's two buttons referencing UltraNX (never heard of it prior) when they aren't there on Kefir.

These only appear if you have the correct ini file present and it's against site rules to tell you how to do this, I suppose google could help you.

is there a new sigpatch for current firmware 22.1 ?

Hey, I might not have the full answer, but before someone jumps in with "just use Sys-Patch!!" I wanted to post.

I know that many users would appreciate it if sigpatches continue to be linked for legacy reasons. I personally use them for something that Sys-Patch would not necessarily be ideal for.

So if @impeeza is for any reason not going to continue to update the first line of this thread I would hope that someone else can and will. I think? impeeza will continue to support sigpatches, they sometimes just take awhile. But if they are stopping for some reason I still appreciate all that impeeza does and has done.

I noticed that someone posted the 22.2.0 sigpatches several pages ago:

Quote
22.0.0-Patches.zip

But obviously those only ended up being relevant for maybe 24 hours so it makes sense that they were never added to the OP.

@bth posted the 22.2.1 ones a couple pages ago:

no. 1.6.0 works fine with 22.1.0, my patterns did not break for ES 22.1.0 (the only thing that changed in 22.1.0)

also here's full bundle with atmosphere 1.11.1 loader patch included (kip .ips patches/ patches.ini)

...but it seems like it also contains more than usual. Maybe someone like @bth could clarify, idk.

No, Sigpatches are dead, look into the previous post where I explain the coders for sigpatches are ending the support.

and yes: Use SYS-Patch Sysmodule.

They are not dead, they are just private for now in an attempt to push noobs into using sys-patch. If you are referring to ips patch creator, there's an updated build with an updated keygen (which generates the new keys to add to hactoolnet) and new patterns added, that build is not public but might become public again once more people (noobs) use sys-patch. Generally there's not much need for the average user to use ips patches anymore because then they also need a modified fusee.bin and end up getting confused, they also don't know if they are using the correct ips patches. Sys-patch just makes things easier all around, although the sys-patch overlay could be doing with an updater and a firmware check so that when a new version comes out they can update straight from the switch. I doubt bth (who codes the version you have on your github) has the skill level to do this so I am not going to be holding my breath for that feature. On bth github there's python scripts to generate keys/ips patches which I am sure you are well aware off.

I understand that you would prefer that people use SYS-Patch. That has been covered... extensively. But there is no reason to not let someone else provide legacy support for sigpatches?

So would you mind handing the editing of the OP over to someone else as it was handed over to you by ShadowOne333??

(IMO a new thread should have been created for SYS-Patch instead of this one being taken over, but we are long past that decision...)

Yep. It was discussed about a week ago, in this very thread. I wonder if @bth would mind being the one to edit the OP from now on if @impeeza is for whatever reason done with it...

Here is the github @AmeliaFox was referring to:

IMHO, for new users and/or newly modded switch, it makes sense to use SYS-Patch. I don't think anyone disagrees with that. But for someone that just wants to update their switch whenever a new firmware version comes out, why not provide legacy support...
