If anyone is interested, the attachment contains the tools required to properly translate the game.

The package includes:
- xapep.exe
- elfPatcher.exe
- isoPatcher.exe

Make sure to read the README file before using the tools.

hi i tried patching the game and it works until after the opening song and then it freezes right when the song ends on the emulator. does the game at that point just take forever to load?

I will check why this is happening and update it.
Most likely an issue in the video encoding.
But just press start, and it will continue.

Yes.
There are around 2000 files that needed translation with varying length (4 to 400 lines of text)
There is a challenge with file sizes they have to be the same size or below the original files.
I have improved the compression to fit more text but still limited and that's why you will notice some broken English.

Also I haven't reviewed every file I have automated the translation and only fixed the files that exceeded the file limit. So if anyone see texts that need adjustments I will happy to update the patch.
Just share the exact text.

I always appreciate any sort of hack like this since modding the game is by far the hardest part, but I do really hope you can find someone to help with properly translating the dialogue. Machine translations are too unreliable and a lot of people don't really want to play a machine fan translation, myself included. I hope you'll continue to work on this project and keep improving it. Best of luck!

I fully agree with you.
I believe the best solution is to share the tools I've used, and maybe others will do it properly.
I will share them soon.

Hi thanks for sharing. I'm trying your tools, I don't have a windows machine, but I'm trying on windows 11 on parallels on macos. I'm following the readme, but the tool xapep, even with succesfull log on cli, it doesn't extract anything in the output folder. Any tips?
