"Resurrection: A Biohazard Story" fanfilm is now available on YouTube

Almost a year ago, back in April, 2025, the Residence of Evil YouTube channel started their IndieGogo campaign for their "Resurrection" fan film, which aimed to bring back the original live-action cast from the very first Resident Evil to reprise their roles, and today, that fan film is now a reality, with the RoE channel bringing their latest and lengthiest fanfilm they have produced to date.

"Resurrection: A Biohazard Story" sees the return of the main cast from the original Resident Evil title from 1996, with the actors behind Chris Redfield, Barry Burton, Rebecca Chambers and Albert Wesker reprising their roles 30 years later. Resurrection's plot brings together the original STARS team to investigate an outbreak in a small town in Mexico, with a part from their past lingering in the shadows.

Fans and veterans of the Resident Evil franchise are sure to catch a lot of small easter eggs, and even some surprise appearances by other people that have been involved in several Resident Evil titles before.
The full feature fanfilm is now available on the Residence of Evil YouTube Channel, with the film having a runtime of 1 hour, 14 minutes.

Props to them for including Sheva Alomar, the real actress! Well deserved, because fans missed her like crazy!

The acting is horrible and it's cheesy, but a fun movie.

Everybody moved so slow, should have been called Elderly Evil, a Discount at Denny's Story!

They showed everyone but Leon, lol...I wonder if that was done on purpose!

Mid Credit scene was cool.

(B)- Rating!
