Well... I think Pinsa with a topping of tomatoes, mozzarella, sauerkraut, kimchi, grilled chicken breast and olive oil tastes fucking awesome. Great dinner.

I love $80 games becoming the norm. Not because I like paying more for my games, but because I have been buying $80 games for years now and no one cared when I whined because it was mostly niche titles that very few people cared about. But now more gamers can now share in my pain.

The Switch 1 UI is perfect in every sense of the word. It does what it needs to flawlessly and without unnecessary pomp. Console UIs peaked on the Switch.

After releasing the Switch, Nintendo got greedier and creatively dead

I thought the thread was about unpopular opinions.

Calling analogue sticks joysticks is fucking stupid. They are two different things. It's like alligators and crocodiles ffs
Agree in case of N64 - that sin of a stick was anything but even remote joy.

PS3 had some mad polished gems and new online features plus allowing you to run linux out of the box for a good while. Whatever that virtual 3d chat was pretty cool too. Resistance and Killzone were neat. After all of those, yea, Sony kinda expired.

Here’s another thing. That if you’ve never had sex with a significant other or if you still live in your parents’ house without taking care of them, you shouldn’t be allowed to post on social media.

Lots of unwashed virgins on those places that honestly should have no room to talk about anything. All they do is troll and have not one iota of social skills.

Just look at the comments about the PS5 jailbreaking scene in some of these YouTube videos especially.

Then you got so many of these people doing livestreams and shit with almost 100K views and they look like they’d cry if they had to touch a woman’s breast or a dude’s ass.

Like do y’all watch these people as reminders to get out of bed and do something every day so you don’t end up like them, do you watch to laugh at them, or what the hell’s going on here.

And don’t get me started on these “influencers”…..especially these ones that don’t really give a shit about what they’re doing and are just creating “content” to push their OnlyFans channels. Like these channels that open Pokemon cards or play Fortnite just to get people to pay subs for them.

I know I probably sound like Abe Simpson yelling at a cloud, but having them around honestly makes the entire world dumber and more entitled.

Speaking of entitlement, we should have people going around with belts and when they see people acting up or being their entitled little selves, film them beating that ass and put THAT on YouTube or social media. That’s the kinds of things we SHOULD be seeing.

See a kid at Target running around knocking shit off the shelves? Whoop their ass. Whoop the parent too if they’re around.

See someone scalping Pokemon cards? Beat their ass. Take the cards and give them to the kids as it should be.

See some Karen yelling at the McDonald’s staff instead of talking like a human being? Beat her ass.

See some teenagers acting like assholes for their TikTok pages? Whoop their asses while forcing them to film it.

See a president acting like a spoiled child? Whoop his ass with the belt. Clearly his dad never did.

If we just brought back some goddamn sense and maybe a little discipline, the world would be so much better.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

The N64 is a awful system.

There was little games coupled with a terrible controller and high prices, it set the blueprint for the Wii U.
Removing the "64" tag on all of the N64 games would be more acceptable. Otherwise, nothing except 1st-party games are the best over those other ones (I'm looking at you, Superman 64).

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
All, popular opinions actually. Sad and shitty reality is that dumbification and influencer crap is here to stay because it drives insane profits for the corporations. Pokemon Company couldn't care less why their stupid cards sell the fk out, now that they actually do.

You can either try to start your own vocal revolution, or do your best to ignore all of that crap and just work your status quo.

Evangelion is not even that good but fans overanalyze every tiny detail to the point of delusion

The context adds a lot to its original impact. Like all media, giant robot shows have cycles that swing from "yaaay, giant robots are cool" to "war is hell" and back, following the general zeitgeist. Evangelion released after a period of "giant robots fuck yeah," when the time was perfectly right for a "this shit's fuuucked up" kind of show, and Evangelion had that, and then some. Taken out of that context and placed alongside other works with the same themes from other eras it loses some of that point and poignancy but it's still pretty good.

Rebuild of Evangelion on the other hand is just nostalgia bait.

You know, everyone also hypes Gurren and I didn't like its signature Trigger over-the-top's-top style that broke immersion into that setting. Then it was neither pure comedy nor serious, so when it was trying to ramp up seriousness it just didn't have the punch. Conversely, and terribly shameful, that older gold Nadesico failed as a media project.

Here’s another thing that pisses me off. All these Gen-Zers who always love to complain about Gen-X and Millennials. Like I’m sorry, what the fuck have you people done besides eat Tide pods, make TikTok videos, and do stupid YouTube challenges? What have y’all done besides being glued to your phone? I know there’s exceptions to every rule. There’s some good Gen-Z people. And there are problematic Gen-X people. And speaking of Gen X, they should stop complaining too. Because as a millennial, I knew at least some peace before the constant tragedies, the wars, the tech that’s invaded our lives, the lack of privacy that we have since 9/11. We literally went through more shit than any of you ever will. Save for maybe the “greatest generation” with their TWO World Wars and most of them are gone. At least Gen-X had a decade, maybe more of a peaceful life before we came along. Gen-Z never knew what true peace was like as they literally were born into this post 9/11 mess. So they’re used to it. So as far as I’m concerned, both of those generations can go fuck themselves. How’s that for the “Gen-X vs. Gen-Z” debate?
