After my previous thread (https://gbatemp.net/threads/sorry-t...unter-but-i-cant-install-certain-vpks.679219/) I decided to purchase a new microSD, format it, and copy/paste all the files from my old one to it. However, whenever I turn on my Vita after enabling YAMT, I am unable to find VitaShell (or any other homebrew) on my home menu. after disabling YAMT, I'm able to find and open VitaShell but the VPKs I've placed on the microSD are nowhere to be found. Any ideas?

Did you copy ALL the files and folders? Including hidden and system ones.
is it possible for hidden/system files to end up on the sd card during the modding process? if so then how would I go about transferring them to a new card?

Dude, your current micro SD card doesn't just have your "files" on it, it also has your entire hacked Henkaku/Henlo/Enso OPERATING SYSTEM INSTALLED on it.

"Copying" the contents from your old card to the new one won't work. You need to CLONE your old card to a new micro SD card. Copying its content is a dead end. Try using Win32 Disk Imager. That will clone your hacked Vita's OS, along with its content. This will work. Your only other option is to de-hack your precious little Vita, and start fresh with a totally new installation of the hack.

So in the words of Mr. Garrison from South Park, "GIVE IT A SHOT OFFICER BARBRADY!!!"
