He's referring to the Spotify for systune post which is now deleted. I commented that the app was a strange target for malware (if it was) and that I was surprised that they didn't target one of the nros that needed recompiling, or at least something that wasn't obviously fake and had no source code.

The virus was "Spotify-for-sys-tune" and it linked to a website that trolled people for running the malware and claimed to steal their PRODINFO (the console's unique certificate required for online play). The same file was also posted in the Downloads section from an alternate account and was disguised as a Splatoon cheat downloader.

I created this account as soon as I found the malware and reported it to Flame, who very quickly removed the posts.
Sorry for being vague in my first post.

currently, updating my Switch CFW before updating its Firmware
21.0.0 just released recently
so I will do a question some may have here

Which of the previous firmwares its the most stable/have support for all popular homebrew?
got everything ready for myself
but may go for a firmare previous to 21.0.0 if that one supports Tesla Menu Overlays

Edit:
could it be possible to add Breeze as an alternative to Edizon Overlay?

Its been my go to since the one linked in the NH Switch Guide its already outdated
and Breeze seems to take from where Edizon left off originally

or the supported updated forks are better?
still, will leave the github for Breeze here, just take in consideration adding it to the list on the first page, as it recently also got updated with support for FW 21.0.0

Anything below FW21 is more stable than FW 21. This means that you can use the apps as usual on FW 18, FW 19 and FW20.

Only update to new firmware if you can't boot a game and it ask to do it and as far as I know new games don't ask for FW21 yet. Silksong and IIRC Hades II are games that ask to update to FW 20 if you want to use SaltyNX.

Is Metroid Pirme 4 Beyond functional in 19.0.1?
I may stay in this FW if games still work there

haven't updated since the big 20.0.0 update at March/April that added new features to the Switch (Virtual Game Cards)
but I don't have a problem updating myself, what I wanna know is if I should know what to configure if the case I end up updating to 20.4.0 when it comes to these new features, which I can't take advantage because my Switch its banned from going Online, and don't even have a Nintendo Online Suscription (which still its a terrible deal when compared to PSN+ or XGPU)

How are we supposed to know if the game hasn't been released yet? Lol.

If you're going to update to FW 20, you'd need Atmosphere compatible with FW20, Hekate compatible with FW 20 etc etc.

has anyone worked on simple mod downloader i saw the mod manager but not this one hopefully it gets updated
