I'm considering an xbox series x for emulation on dev mode.

Reason for this over a dedicated PC is mostly one: quick resume.

I'm spoiled by the PS5 which I just get the controller from the charging dock, press the PS button and get back to the game.

As I'm getting older I have less time to mess with settings, get a wireless keyboard and do all kind of hoops to get things to work.

I know that dev mode might be a pain to setup once but once it's done. It's done.

So my question is focused on that, does quick resume works on dev mode?

Can you just suspend an emulated game and get back at the exact same spot you were?

Can you wake up the series x with the controller straight into dev mode?

I use a series S for emulation and an X for xbox games.

In dev mode theres is, afaik, no suspend or quick resume mode for games or apps.
You can't switch from emulator to another emulator/game without the other being force closed.

Yes the xbox gamepads work as normal and you can even update the firmware like on regular mode.

But can you suspend your current emulator putting the xbox to sleep and get back to it later while in dev mode and get to the same point you were?
