I modded a Wii which is a gift to my cousin. Its a RVL-101.
I used this guide since I do not have access to Windows at the moment. I did the mod two weeks ago so I assume all versions of USB Loader GX, Priiloader, Nintendont... are current versions. I installed recommended d2x cIOS installer, YAWM ModMii, SysCheck ModMii (check said everything was okay). I also installed Homebrew channel, Nintendont and USB Loader GX.
I use an external hard drive formatted to FAT 32 because I use it for both Gamecube and Wii games. The Gamecube Games are in ISO format and Wii Games are wbfs. Folder structure and File structure is as recommended. On Priiloader I enabled Region Free everything.
Now on USB Loader GX Gamecube games rune finde. ome Wii Games like Tetris Party Deluxe do too. Many other Wii games don't. I first tried Skyward Sword. I got a black screen and I was sent back to main menu. I first thought that I made a mistake when splitting the wbfs file becasue I used WIT as a CLI tool because I don't have Windows at the moment and maybe I did something wrong. But Mario Galaxy also won't start, and that is a non splittet game.
I know there are some posts about this topic here already. But some are outdated or don't fit to my setup. Therefore I don't know where to look to fix this. Could you help me please?
